Andrew David Meyer lives and breathes sound. As co-owner and lead engineer at Meraki Audio, he’s spent the last decade chasing emotion through audio—mixing, recording, and finessing sound across stages, studios, and everything in between. From gritty club sets to sweeping orchestral scores, he’s shaped sound in spaces big and small—including iconic venues like the Gorge Amphitheater.
At his core, Andrew is a storyteller. Not with words, but with faders, frequencies, and feel.
Andrew’s portfolio spans genres, formats, and a long list of talented collaborators. His work includes:
"To Live in the Time of God" – a rich, dynamic recording with the Yakima Symphony Orchestra
Mixes with artists like Lulo Reinhardt and Vixen
Hundreds of live shows—more than 500 and counting—each one mixed with intention and care
Whether it’s a quiet soloist, a roaring rock set, or a full symphony, Andrew knows how to read the room—and translate it into sound that moves people.
Andrew’s toolbox is packed with technical chops, deep musical intuition, and a calm-under-pressure mindset that makes him a favorite with artists and crews alike. A few highlights:
FOH & Monitor Mixing – Adapting to genre, space, and energy in real time
Audio Networking – Dante Level 3 certified and fluent in complex systems
Speaker Systems – Knows his way around L-Acoustics, d&b audiotechnik, and Meyer Sound rigs
Consoles – Avid, Yamaha, dLive, Midas—you name it, he’s dialed it in
Software – Pro Tools, Logic, Reaper, L-Net, and beyond
But above all the gear and credentials, Andrew’s real skill is in listening—to artists, to the moment, to what the story really needs to sound like.
Meraki means putting soul, creativity, and love into everything you do. And that’s exactly how Andrew approaches every mix, every mic placement, every show.
From a quiet orchestral phrase to the roar of a festival crowd, Andrew brings sound to life in ways that feel honest, human, and unforgettable.
